
Question: What do you get when you combine Lego and Batman? Answer: Hours upon hours of fun on the PC instead of building bricks!
Thanks to the success of the Lego Star Wars games, Traveller’s Tales hopes to recreate the same success in another award winning game. With so many possible sides and angles to the DC comic title, Lego Batman is expected to please both kids and adults alike, although this game might be a tad darker than the previous Star Wars titles. Lego Batman will feature, who else, Batman and Robin. Gone are the lightsabers and Princess Leia’s bun-like hairstyle. Instead, we can now see a delightful array of gadgets and Batarangs. Much to my amusement, I notice that these Lego versions of Batman and Robin have adorably short arms and legs. Throwing punches make them look cuter!

Own a Nintendo DS? Love Kingdom Hearts? If you’ve answered yes to the questions above, chances are that you will simply adore “The World Ends with You”, a new DS game that is just out on the streets. If you think that this game is all about swords and sorcery, magic and damsels in distress, you are only half-correct. Square-Enix took this game to another level by taking all the elements that Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts fans love, and transporting it all to modern-day Tokyo.

Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures is yet another valuable gem produced by Travellers’ Tales and is expected to create waves this June for the Wii, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, XBOX 360, DS, PC and the Sony PSP. Unlike its Star Wars predecessors, players will find 18 levels encased within the Lego Indiana Jones game, six of which is based upon the films “Raiders of the Lost Ark”, “Temple of Doom” and “The Last Crusade”. If you do it well, you can even find bonus levels. This action-packed game is delightfully made with ample humor and witty dialogues.
