Backgammon players donating to China

Recently there was an earthquake disaster in Sichuan, China, where hundreds died and others were made homeless. Due to this situation, BackgammonMasters have decided to aid relief efforts and help those who were involved in the disaster. Not many online casino service providers would offer help for humanitarian reasons but obviously BackgammonMasters are the exception to the rule. They have offered to match $5 for every $1 donated from a months worth of tournament buy-ins ranging from $4.50 to $200. Players will participate in online backgammon and blackjack tournaments where all of the prize money will go directly to the UNICEF organization whose main focus of attention and assistance is on child victims of the quake.

This effort from this reputable online backgammon company would certainly serve to inspire others to join their effort. It is but a small contribution from an online company which other online casino services should try to emulate as well to help in a worthy cause for the unfortunate.
